The linguocultural aspect of Russian conventional similes characterising a person's way of life (against the background of the Chinese language)

Abstract

Выпускная квалификационная работа бакалавра посвящена лингвокультурологическому анализу устойчивых сравнений русского языка, характеризующих образ жизни человека, на фоне китайского языка. В работе представлена идеографическая классификация 146 единиц, отобранных из словарей устойчивых сравнений русского языка, приведена также классификация 109 устойчивых сравнений китайского языка. По результатам классификации сделаны выводы относительно совпадения / несовпадения идеографических групп в двух языках, выбора эталонов сравнений, их мотивированности и образности.

The bachelor thesis paper is devoted to the linguocultural analysis of conventional similes in the Russian language characterising a person's way of life against the background of the Chinese language. Presented in the thesis paper is an ideographic classification of 146 lexical units selected from dictionaries of Russian conventional similes as well as a classification of 109 conventional similes of the Chinese language. Based on the results of classifying the selected units, certain conclusions were drawn regarding coincidence / no coincidence of the ideographic groups in both languages, the choice of the comparison standard as well as the comparison motivation and figurativeness.
