Comparative analysis of Arabic lexical loanwords in Italian and Russian

Abstract

В работе представлен сопоставительный анализ заимствований арабского происхождения в итальянском и русском языках. Актуальность работы заключается в том, что арабские заимствования были изучены в итальянском и русском языках отдельно, однако на сегодняшний день еще не было проведено сравнительного анализа и выявления различий и особенностей арабизмов в рассматриваемой паре языков. В связи с этим данное исследование может быть полезно не только для филологической науки, но также и для переводческой деятельности. Материалом для данной работы послужили лексикографические труды, включающие в себя классификации арабских лексических заимствований по лексико-семантическому принципу в рассматриваемых языках. Цель исследования - выявить общие черты, а также специфические особенности арабизмов в рассматриваемых языках и установить, как они адаптировались в них. Настоящая работа состоит из оглавления, введения, двух глав, заключения, списка использованной литературы и приложений. Первая глава посвящена изучению понятий “заимствование” и “языковой пуризм”, также иллюстрации путей вхождения арабизмов в рассматриваемые языки и морфологических особенностей арабского языка и арабизмов. Во второй главе работы проводится разбор арабизмов из трех лексико-тематических групп и производится их сопоставительный анализ. Каждая глава сопровождается соответствующими выводами. В заключении работы обобщены итоги проведенного исследования.

The paper presents a comparative analysis of loanwords of Arabic origin in Italian and Russian languages. The relevance of the work lies in the fact that Arabic loanwords have been studied in Italian and Russian separately, but to date there has been no comparative analysis and identification of the differences and features of Arabisms in the pair of languages in question. Therefore, this study can be useful not only for philological research, but also for translation activities. The material for this study is lexicographic works, which include classifications of Arabic lexical loanwords according to the lexical-semantic principle in the languages in question. The aim of the study is to identify the common features as well as the specific features of Arabisms in the languages under consideration and to establish how they are adapted in them. This paper consists of a table of contents, an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion, a list of references and annexes. The first chapter explores the concepts of "borrowing" and "linguistic purism" and illustrates the ways in which Arabisms have entered the languages under consideration and the morphological features of Arabic and Arabisms. In the second chapter of the work, Arabisms from the three lexical-thematic groups are analysed and their comparative analysis is made. Each chapter is followed by the corresponding conclusions. The conclusion of the work summarises the results of the study.
