The lexico-semantic group "woodland flora": The linguocultural aspect

Abstract

Выпускная квалификационная работа посвящена описанию лексем ЛСГ «Флора леса», которая входит в лексико-семантическое поле «Лес», являющееся одним из ядерных полей русской языковой картины мира. Актуальность темы исследования обусловлена ее включенностью в проблематику современной антропоцентрической парадигмы исследования языка; необходимостью изучения системных отношений в лексике, необходимостью изучения лексики с позиций лингвокультурологии и важностью выявления в лексике культурно-национального представления человека о мире, что востребовано в практике РКИ. Материал исследования классифицируется по уровням леса: деревья, кустарники и травы. ЛСГ «Флора леса» насчитывает 102 лексемы. В рамках работы анализируются наиболее частотные единицы: береза, дуб, осина, рябина, малина, шиповник, боярышник, калина, земляника, ландыш, подснежник, зверобой. Для определения частотности единиц были использованы данные проведенного опроса носителей языка, а также данные частотного словаря. На материале Национального корпуса русского языка выявляются коннотативные семы, присутствующие в лексическом значении анализируемых слов, прежде всего, оценка и культурная коннотация, обусловленная культурными установками, стереотипами, эталонами и символами, существующими в русской языковой картине мира. В работе представлены также данные проведенного ассоциативного эксперимента, подтверждающие результаты анализа текстовых реализаций лексем.

The graduation thesis is devoted to describing the lexemes of a particular lexico-semantic group «Flora of the forest», which belongs to the one of the main parts of the Russian view of the world. – the lexico-semantic field «The forest». Relevance of a subject of the research is caused by its belonging to an anthropocentric paradigm of the research of the language; the importance of studying lexis as a system, and studying lexis in the context of cultural linguistics. More than that, finding and showing the specific cultural national representation of the world in lexis as a system is relevant in the methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language. The data for study is classified by the forest levels. Lexico-semantic group «Flora of the forest» contains 102 lexemes. Within the limits of the thesis, the most frequent lexemes are analyzed: birch, oak, aspen, mountain ash, raspberry, dogrose, hawthorn, guelder-rose, wild strawberry, lily of the valley, snowdrop, St. John's Wort. To determine the frequency of the lexemes we have used a frequency dictionary and conducted a survey, asking respondents to answer if they knew the words. The examples of using the lexemes in different contexts in the national corpus of Russian language are analyzed in terms of connotative semes in lexical meanings, first of all, negative or positive evaluation determined by the cultural attitudes, stereotypes, cultural standards and symbols existing in the Russian view of the world. Moreover, we describe results of the associative survey, which confirm analysis of the realization of the lexemes in the text.
