Lexical specific features of man’s and woman’s speech in the situation of family communication: A case study of modern Russian serials

Abstract

Работа посвящена описанию лексических особенностей мужской и женской речи в ситуации общения в семье на материале современных российских сериалов. Звучащая речь на экране становится не только средством речевой характеристики персонажей сериала, но и участвует в реализации авторского замысла сериала. Кроме того, речь героев современных сериалов, отражает актуальные тенденции современной речевой коммуникации, с другой стороны, она определенным образом влияет на стиль общения в повседневной жизни. В работе рассматриваются современные российские сериалы «Мамочки» (2015) и «Измены» (2015). В ходе анализа речи героев сериалов «Мамочки» и «Измены» было установлено, что в современных российских сериалах доминирует разговорный стиль речи, широко представленный эмоционально-окрашенной лексикой, а также стилистически-маркированной, к которой относится просторечие, молодежный слэнг, жаргонизмы и т.д Лексический анализ речи героев показал, что существуют определенные различия между мужской речью и женской речью в ситуации общения в семье. Анализ лексических особенностей мужской и женской речи в современных российских сериалах представляет собой сложную и интересную тему. Результаты исследования могу быть полезны в методическом и практическом плане преподавания русского языка как иностранного.

The research is devoted to the description of lexical features of male and female speech in the context of family communication, and is based on the material of modern Russian TV series. The speech on the screen not only provides speech characteristics of the characters but also contributes to the implementation of the intention of the author of the series. In addition, the speech of the characters of modern series reflects the current trends in contemporary speech communication, while, on the other hand, it influences, to a certain extent, the style of everyday communication in real life. The study examines contemporary Russian TV series Mommies (2015) and Love Affairs (2015). The analysis of the characters' speech in the TV series Mommies and Love Affairs showed that the dominating style in the modern Russian TV series is informal, with a lot of emotionally colored words and stylistically-marked vocabulary such as colloquial language, youth slang, jargon, etc. The lexical analysis of the characters' speech showed that there are certain differences between men's speech and women's speech in the context of family communication. The analysis of lexical features of male and female speech in modern Russian TV series is a complex and interesting topic. The results of the study may be useful in the teaching of Russian as a foreign language for both methodological and practical purposes.
