Phraseological units with gastronomic component (in contrast to Chinese): Linguo-cultural aspect

Abstract

В работы рассмотрены теоретические вопросы, связанные с определением лингвокультурологии как науки, объёмом и предметом фразеологии и определением её основной единицы, а также проблемы взаимоотношения языка и культуры. Представлена классификация фразеологизмов с гастрономическим компонентом, в основе которой лежит принцип поля. Проведенный сравнительный анализ русских и китайских фразеологизмов позволил установить как их сходства, так и различия. Они касаются количества гастрономических компонентов, особенностей их бытовой и символической функции. Фразеологизмы с гастрономическим компонентом отражают различия традиционных кухонь, обычаев и традиций, связанных с особенностями географического положения, климата, а также историей развития русского и китайского народов.

Theoretical questions related to the definition of linguoculturology as a science, the volume and subject of phraseology and the definition of its basic unit, as well as the problems of the relationship between language and culture are considered in the work. Classification of phraseological units with a gastronomic component based on the field principle is presented. The comparative analysis of Russian and Chinese phraseological units allowed us to establish both their similarities and differences. They relate to the number of gastronomic components, features of their household and symbolic function. Phraseological units with a gastronomic component reflect the differences of traditional cuisines, customs and traditions associated with the peculiarities of the geographical location, climate, and also the history of the development of the Russian and Chinese people.
