The football theme in the Soviet prose of the first half of the 20th century

Abstract

Настоящая диссертация посвящена исследованию темы футбола в советской художественной прозе первой половины XX века. Литературные произведения рассматриваются в неразрывной связи с историко-культурным контекстом с точки зрения различных аспектов. Особое внимание уделяется образам вратаря и нападающего как ключевых игровых амплуа на футбольном поле. В качестве материала рассматриваются произведения Ю. К. Олеши, Л. А. Кассиля, А. В. Козачинского, Л. А. Лагина и многих других советских авторов.

The following work is dedicated to the study of the theme of football in the Soviet prose of the first half of the 20th century. Literary texts are presented in their inextricable connection with historical and cultural context according to different aspects. Special attention is paid to figures of a goalkeeper and a forward as the key field players. The research is based on texts written by Y. K. Olesha, L. A. Kassil, A. V. Kozachinskij, L. A. Lagin and many other soviet writers.
