Lexical means of expressing emotions in Alexander Pushkin's "The Tales of the Late Ivan Petrovich Belkin": The aspect of functional semantics

Магистерская диссертация посвящена исследованию лексических средств передачи (т.е. выражения и описания) эмоций в «Повестях Белкина» А.С. Пушкина. Особое внимание обращается на их функциональные и семантические особенности. Выделены подгруппы положительных (радость, любовь и др.) и отрицательных (горе, печаль и др.) эмоций, а также их сложные комплексы. Отдельно рассмотрены причины, которые определяют выбор и особенности лексических, грамматических и др. средств китайского языка при переводе любовных эмоций.

This Master thesis identified the study of lexical means that are used for conveying (expression and description) emotions in "Tales of Belkin" of A.S. Pushkin. The particular attention is paid to their functional and semantic features. There exist positive (joy, love, etc..) and negative (grief, sadness, etc..) emotions, as well as their complex systems. Separately this work researched the factors that determine the choice and features of lexical, grammatical and others means for conveying "love" in the Chinese translation.
