New borrowings in the thematic group "Cooking" (a study of the material of the dictionary "New in Russian Vocabulary. Vocabulary Materials")

Abstract

Статья посвящена процессам заимствования лексем из других языков в области кулинарии. Анализу подвергаются структурные и семантические особенности процесса ассимиляции заимcтвований под влиянием социальных и прагматических факторов, таких как сферы распространения заимствований, тематические группы, в которые они входят, мотивы и пути проникновения заимствований. Кулинарная лексика разных стран дополняет русский язык, заменяя исходную описательную лексику. И чем теснее становятся русскоязычные (культурные питания, экономические, социально-политические и др.) связи носителей островных диалектов с окружающим иноязычным населением, тем больше необходимость восполнения словаря. Этим объясняется проникновение большого количества заимствований в русский язык, а также другие процессы, вызвавшие изменения в лексико-семантической системе под влиянием иноязычного окружения. Заимствования из Азии(китайского, корейского и тайского языков) способности приобретать маркеры грамматических категорий русского языка (грамматическая адаптация) и выступать в качестве основы для образования новых слов (словообразовательная адаптация) не продемонстрировали. А заимствования из индоевропейских языков могут подвергаться грамматической и словообразовательной адаптации.

The article is devoted to the processes of borrowing lexemes from other languages in the field of cooking. The structural and semantic features of the process of assimilation of borrowings under the influence of social and pragmatic factors, such as the spheres of distribution of borrowings, thematic groups to which they belong, motives and ways of penetration of borrowings, are analyzed. Culinary vocabulary from different countries complements the Russian language, replacing the original descriptive vocabulary. And the closer the Russian-speaking (cultural nutrition, economic, socio-political, etc.) ties between the speakers of island dialects and the surrounding foreign-speaking population become, the greater the need to replenish the dictionary. This explains the penetration of a large number of borrowings into the Russian language, as well as other processes that caused changes in the lexico-semantic system under the influence of a foreign language environment. Borrowings from Asia (Chinese, Korean and Thai) did not demonstrate the ability to acquire markers of grammatical categories of the Russian language (grammatical adaptation) and act as a basis for the formation of new words (word-forming adaptation). And borrowings from Indo-European languages can be subject to grammatical and derivational adaptation.
