Preparing for publication and folklore, ethnographic commenting on G.F. Krugov’s peasant poetic biography "Bitter fate or Songs about my life from birth to 45 years" (from the collection of Archive of Ancient Relics of the Institute of Russian Literature)

Abstract

Рукопись автобиографии Григория Филатовича Кругова была найдена Г.В. Маркеловым в антикварно-букинистическом магазине в Санкт-Петербурге в 2009 году , затем была приобретена Пушкинским Домом и помещена в Древлехранилище . Целиком рукопись ещё не была опубликована несмотря на то, что сам Г.Ф. Кругов предпринимал несколько попыток. Целью данной работы было подготовить издание рукописи с фольклорно-этнографическими комментариями.

The manuscript of the autobiography of Grigory Filatovich Krugov was found by G.V. Markelov in an antique bookstore in St. Petersburg in 2009, then it was acquired by the Pushkin House and placed in the Ancient Storage. The entire manuscript has not yet been published, despite the fact that G.F. Krugov made several attempts. The purpose of this work was to prepare an edition of the manuscript with folklore and ethnographic comments.
