French connectors pourtant, cependant, néanmoins and transmission patterns in their Russian translation

Abstract

В выпускной квалификационной работе исследуется употребление коннекторов pourtant, cependant, néanmoins в литературных произведениях с XIX по XXI вв., а также способы их перевода на русский язык. В первой главе проведен диахронический анализ частотности изучаемых коннекторов за последние 200 лет. Обнаружена смена частотности коннекторов pourtant/cependant на рубеже XIX-XX вв. Следующие три главы посвящены детальному изучению функционирования каждого из трех коннекторов и вариантов его перевода на русский язык. Сделаны выводы о том, что выбор варианта перевода зависит от функции коннектора, а смена частотности вызвана изменением как сферы употребления коннекторов, так и изменением сознания людей.

In the thesis the use of connectors pourtant, cependant, néanmoins in literary works from the XIXth to the XXIst centuries, as well as ways of their translation into Russian are studied. In the first chapter a diachronic analysis of the frequency of the studied connectors over the last 200 years was carried out. It was found out that the frequency of the connectors pourtant/cependant had changed at the turn of the 19th-20th centuries. The next three chapters are devoted to a detailed study of each of the three connectors and the variants of their translation into Russian. The conclusions are made that the choice of the translation variant depends on the function of the connector, and the change of frequency is caused by the change in both the sphere of use of the connectors and the change in people's consciousness.
