The Eventual Situation in the English publicistic discourse

Abstract

Данная работа посвящена изучению своеобразия языковой репрезентации событийной ситуации в публицистическом дискурсе в текстах интервью Джеймса Кэмерона, для чего проводится многоуровневый анализ языковых фрагментов, направленный на выявление их семантико-синтаксических, прагма-коммуникативных и когнитивно-семантических параметров, вскрывающих эмоционально-оценочный и личностно-событийный аспекты событийной ситуации. Важным дополнением анализа послужило исследование дефиниций таких слов как happen, change, occur, позволившее получить полные и непротиворечивые данные об их лексико-семантических характеристиках, мотивирующих значение лексемы «событие», имеющей доминирующую роль в проводимом анализе.

The graduation paper focuses on the study of the language representation of the event situation in the publicistic discourse in different interviews by James Cameron. The multi-level analysis is held. It is oriented to identify their semantic and syntactic,pragma and communicative and cognitive and semantic characteristics, which reveal emotional,evaluative,personal and social aspects of the event situation. An important complement of the analysis was the study of definitions of such words as happen,change,occur, which allowed to obtain complete and consistent data about lexical and semantic characteristics,motivating the meaning of the lexeme 'event', which has a dominant role in the ongoing analysis.
