The verbal structure of a legal column in a newspaper: The aspect of functional semantics

Abstract

Работа посвящена описанию особенности речевой организации колонки юриста как газетного жанра, а также выявлению основных речевых действий и способов их языкового выражения, обусловленных характером адресата. Структурный и языковой анализ материала показал, что колонка юриста за последние 5 лет сложилась как газетный жанр и обрела достаточно устойчивые жанровые черты, к которым можно отнести следующие: типичное композиционное построение; набор типичных текстовых элементов ответа юриста; типичная языковая реализация каждого из устойчивых текстовых элементов ответа юриста.

The paper is devoted to the description of specifics of speech organization of the lawyer's column as a newspaper genre, as well as detection of the main speech actions and methods of their language expression conditioned by the addressee’s nature. Structural and linguistic analysis of the material showed that within the last 5 years the lawyer's column has formed as a newspaper genre and acquired quite stable genre features to which the following can be attributed: a typical composition structural; a set of typical textual elements of the lawyer’s reply; typical linguistic implementation of each of stable textual elements of the lawyer’s reply.
