Distant teaching of oral communication in German to the students of linguistics faculties (B levels)

Abstract

Работа фокусируется на проблеме эффективности дистанционного обучения студентов языковых вузов навыкам устного общения на немецком языке на уровнях B1 и B2. Структура работы включает введение, две главы, выводы по главам, заключение, список литературы и приложение. Во введении обоснована актуальность выбранной темы, поставлены цель и задачи исследования. В главе 1 рассмотрены современное понятие, виды, умения и стратегии устно-речевого общения, технологии дистанционного обучения и особенности организации учебной деятельности в языковых вузах. Кроме того, изучено понятие «дистанционное обучение», его преимущества и недостатки, а также проведен сравнительный анализ популярных интернет-платформ в связи с возможностью их использования для обучения коммуникативным навыкам. В главе 2 проанализированы эмпирические данные, полученные при анкетировании 55 студентов и преподавателей, изучающих и преподающих немецкий язык онлайн. На основе полученных данных выявлены положительные тенденции и существующие проблемы в области дистанционной практики устного иноязычного общения, а также сформулированы методические рекомендации, направленные на решение этих проблем. В заключении описана теоретическая и практическая значимость проведенного исследования и его результаты. Общий объем работы составляет 93 страницы.

The topic of the given diploma paper is the effectiveness of distance teaching of oral communication in German (B1-B2 levels) to the students of linguistics faculties. The work consists of an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion, a list of references, and an appendix. The introduction proves the relevance of the chosen topic, sets the goal and objectives of the study. The first chapter examines the modern concept, types, skills, and strategies of oral foreign language communication, distance teaching technologies, and features of the organization of the educational process of linguistics faculties. In addition to that, it looks into the concept of “distance learning”, its advantages and disadvantages, as well as gives a comparative analysis of popular Internet platforms and features, needed for teaching oral foreign language communication. The second chapter analyzes empirical data from 55 students and teachers who study and teach German online. On the basis of the data obtained, positive trends and existing problems in the field of distance teaching of oral foreign language communication were identified, and methodological recommendations were formulated to solve these problems. In the conclusion the theoretical and practical significance of the study and its results are described. The length of the diploma paper is 93 pages.
