Respiratory-phonetic analysis of the model of the syllable-pause structure of the Chinese speech chain in comparison with English

Abstract

Целью данной выпускной квалификационной работы является анализ роли и значения пауз и длительности слогов для передачи информации и прогноза поведения собеседника. Определить роль влияния речевого дыхания на успешность освоения английского и русского произношения носителями китайского языка. Актуальность темы обусловлена необходимостью поиска эффективных методов минимизации конфликтов и непонимания между говорящими, принадлежащими к разным языковым группам, которые возникают вследствие различий в естественном респираторно-фонетическом построении речи, и поиска путей более точной передачи информации. Задачами работы являлось: 1) проанализировать научную литературу по теме диссертации; 2) проанализировать различия в понимании лингвистами некоторых фонетических терминов в китайском, английском и русском языках; 3) экспериментально измерить респираторную функцию при говорении у носителей китайского языка и английского языка (с помощью эргоспирометрии); 4) определить различия между вышеназванными функциями; 5) экспериментально измерить паузы и дыхание; 6) описать классификацию паузы в английских или русских научных материалах; 7) соотнести паузы с дыханием.

The purpose of this final qualification work is to analyze the role and significance of pauses and syllable length for transmitting information and predicting the behavior of the interlocutor. To determine the role of the influence of speech breathing on the success of mastering English and Russian pronunciation by native Chinese speakers. The relevance of the topic is due to the need to find effective methods to minimize conflicts and misunderstandings between speakers belonging to different language groups, which arise due to differences in the natural respiratory-phonetic structure of speech, and to find ways to more accurately convey information. The objectives of the work were: 1) analyze the scientific literature on the topic of the dissertation; 2) analyze the differences in the understanding of some phonetic terms by linguists in Chinese, English and Russian; 3) to experimentally measure respiratory function when speaking in native Chinese and English speakers (using ergospirometry); 4) identify the differences between the above functions; 5) experimentally measure pauses and respiration; 6) describe the classification of the pause in English or Russian scientific materials; 7) relate the pauses to the breath.
