Armed conflicts of the post-Soviet space in the Russian mass media

Abstract

Актуальность темы вооруженных конфликтов объясняется нынешней геополитической ситуацией. Помимо вооруженных сил в конфликтах весомое место начали занимать каналы медиа и средства массовой информации, благодаря которым военный конфликт проходит процесс медиатизации и становится достоянием общественности. Конфликты на постсоветском пространстве представляют больший интерес для российской и русскоязычной аудитории, нежели другие конфликты, так как они затрагивают стратегические интересы Российской Федерации, а также из-за вовлеченности в конфликт соотечественников. Новизна данного научного исследования заключается в комплексном анализе своевольных интерпретаций вооруженных столкновений в призме СМИ противоборствующих сторон конфликта, а также в медиатизации культурно-исторического бэкграунда вооруженных конфликтов. Объект исследования — материалы, опубликованные российскими СМИ во время вооруженных конфликтов на постсоветских территориях. Предмет исследования — особенности освещения вооруженных конфликтов в постсоветском пространстве российскими СМИ Цель работы — выявить закономерности в освещении российскими СМИ вооруженных конфликтов на постсоветском пространстве. Задачи курсовой работы — - изучить культурный и исторический бэкграунд конфликтов в постсоветском пространстве; - рассмотреть подходы к типологизации конфликта; - выявить трактовки возможные конфликта в призме СМИ; - проанализировать публикации, которые были посвящены теме конфликта; - сравнить освещение конфликтов на постсоветском пространстве. Теоретическая база исследования состоит из работ в области конфликтологии, социологии, истории и теории журналистики, работы в области теории массовых коммуникаций, а также исследования посвященные манипулированию информацией. Эмпирическая база исследования — материалы портала «РИА Новости».

The relevance of the topic of armed conflicts is explained by the current geopolitical situation. In addition to the armed forces in conflicts, media channels and the mass media began to occupy a significant place, thanks to which the military conflict goes through the process of mediatisation and becomes a public information. Conflicts in the post-Soviet space are of greater interest to the Russian and Russian-speaking audience than other conflicts, because they affect the strategic interests of the Russian Federation, and also because of the involvement of compatriots in the conflict. The novelty of this scientific research consists in a comprehensive analysis of the arbitrary interpretations of armed clashes in the media prism of the opposing sides of the conflict, as well as in the mediatisation of the cultural and historical background of armed conflicts. The object of the study is materials published by Russian media during armed conflicts in the post-Soviet territories. The subject of the study is the features of coverage of armed conflicts in the post-Soviet space by Russian media The aim of the work is to reveal the patterns in the coverage of armed conflicts in the post-Soviet space by Russian media. The objectives of the course work: - to explore the cultural and historical background of the conflicts in the post-Soviet space; - to consider approaches of typology of the conflict; - to reveal the interpretation of the conflict in the media prism; - to analyze the publications that were devoted to the topic of the conflict; - to compare the coverage of conflicts in the post-Soviet space. The theoretical base of the research consists of works in the sphere of conflictology, sociology, history and theory of journalism, work in the field of the theory of mass communications, as well as studies devoted to manipulating information. The empirical base of the research is the materials of Russian media «RIA Novosti».
