Borders of National Identity in Contemporary Art (by the Example of Japan)

Abstract

В современном мире эпохи глобализации, социальной интеграции и процессов, направленных на стирание культурных границ, наблюдается кризис, связанный с потерей ощущения национальной идентичности у индивида. Выражение этого кризиса мы можем наблюдать и в искусстве. Данная работа представляет собой анализ границ национальной идентичности на примере современного искусства Японии. Для этого был проведен историко-философский и культурологический анализ особенностей японского искусства и эстетики.

In the modern world of the era of globalization, social integration and processes aimed at erasing cultural boundaries, there is a crisis associated with the loss of a sense of national identity in the individual. We can observe the expression of this crisis in art. This work is an analysis of the boundaries of national identity on the example of contemporary art in Japan. To do this, we conducted a historical, philosophical and cultural analysis of the characteristics of Japanese art and aesthetics.
