Youtube-channels "Russia Today" and "Current time" as instruments of "soft power"

Abstract

Данная работа посвящена изучению концепции и инструментов «мягкой» силы. В частности, автором рассматриваются Youtube-каналы «Russia Today» и «Настоящее время» в качестве данных инструментов. Цель данной роботы: определить специфику содержания каналов «Russia Today» и «Настоящее время». В ходе работы рассматриваются теоретические и методологические особенности данного феномена, понятие и практика «иновещания», регулирование «иновещания» законодательством России и США, социально-политическое развитие сети Интернет. Для оценки специфики Youtube-каналов, автор проводит контент-анализ, традиционный анализ текста, а также сравнительный анализ данных каналов.

This work is devoted to the study of the concept and tools of "soft" power. In particular, the author considers Youtube channels "Russia Today" and "Настоящее время" as these tools. The purpose of this robot is to determine the specifics of the content of the channels "Russia Today" and "Настоящее время". In the course of the work the following are considered: theoretical and methodological features of this phenomenon, the concept and practice of "foreign broadcasting", regulation of "foreign broadcasting" by the legislation of Russia and USA, social and political development of the Internet. To assess the specificity of the Youtube channels, the author conducts a content analysis, traditional analysis of the text, and also the comparative analysis of these channels.
