History of Opera as a History of Philosophy of Art

Abstract

В рамках данного исследования рассматривается проблема влияния внутренних закономерностей исторического развития оперы на становление и дальнейший путь философии искусства как новой формы реализации человеческой субъективности. В ходе работы анализируются основные этапы истории оперы в контексте развертывания оперного принципа от интенции к полноте реализации, которой он достигает в эпоху романтизма. Рассматривается связь этого события с основными тенденциями развития европейского искусства. Делается вывод, что субъект развернулся в опере эпохи Романтизма полностью, и с этого момента пространство искусства уже не может служить его дальнейшему развертыванию, но открывают новое поле существования человека. Музыкальные драмы Р.Вагнера являют собой пример окончательного слияния искусства с рефлексией о самом себе в едином пространстве произведения. Таким образом оперный принцип демонстрируется в качестве основы существования новоевропейского субъекта, который на пути своего развертывания образует поле возможности существования философии искусства, а после своего завершения дает ей вектор для собственного осуществления, чтобы смоделировать устраненного субъекта в форме чистой рефлексии о нем. Делается вывод, что история оперы оказывается связанной с историей философии искусства неразрывной нитью реализации субъекта, что позволяет назвать историю оперы предпосылкой и глубинным основанием истории философии искусства.

In the framework of this study, we examine the influence of the internal laws of the historical development of the opera on the formation and the further path of the philosophy of art as a new form of the realization of human subjectivity. In the course of the work, we analyze the main stages of the history of opera in the context of the unfolding of the opera principle from its intention to the fullness of its realization attained in the era of Romanticism. We examine the connection of this event to the main trends in the development of European art. The conclusion is drawn that the Subject was fully realized in the opera of the Romantic era, thus from that moment the art space can no longer be the basis for Subject’s further unfolding, but it opens a new field of human existence. The musical dramas of R. Wagner are an example of the final integration of art with self-reflection in the united space of the artwork. Thus, the opera principle is demonstrated as the basis for the existence of the Modern Subject. In its unfolding the opera principle has formed the field of the possibility of the existence of the philosophy of art, and after its completion gave it a vector of its own implementation in order to model the eliminated Subject in the form of a pure reflection on it. In conclusion, the history of the opera is inherently connected with the history of the philosophy of art in the sphere of the realization of the subject. This allows us to call the history of the opera a prerequisite and a deep foundation of the history of the philosophy of art.
