The grammar and lexis of the Russian-Chinese pidgin in Vladimir Arsenyev's works

Abstract

Магистерская диссертация посвящена одному из русских пиджинов – русско-китайскому, активно функционирующему на территории современного Дальнего Востока. В первой главе даются основные теории возникновения пиджина и его признаки. В практической главе проводится анализ языковых особенностей речи носителя пиджина, выполненный на материале трёх художественных произведений В.К.Арсеньва.(«Дерсу Узала», «По Уссурийскому краю», «Сквозь тайгу»).

The master's thesis is dedicated to one of the Russian pidgins – to Russian-Chinese, actively functioning on the territory of the modern Far East region. The first chapter is about the basic theories of the origin of pidgin and its features. In the practical chapter, there is analysis of linguistic features of the pidgin speaker, based on the material taken from three works of V.K. Arseney’vs (“Dersu Uzala”, “Ussuriiskii krai”, “Through the taiga”).
