Linguocultural aspect of German and Russian idioms with water and hydrophytic elements

Данная магистерская диссертация посвящена изучению лингвокультурологического аспекта немецких и русских фразеологизмов с водным компонентом в составе, а также изучению роли концепта «вода» в немецкой и русской культурах. Главная цель данной работы заключалась в том, чтобы выявить особенности восприятия концепта вода в немецкой и русской культурах, исследовать влияние данного концепта на фразеологию немецкого и русского языков с точки зрения лингвокультурологии, а также определить основные типы эквивалентности фразеологизмов с водным компонентом в русском и немецком языках. Материалом исследования послужили немецкоязычные фразеологизмы с водным компонентом, приведенные в словаре «Klar Schiff machen! Fisch, Wasser, Schiffe und die Menschen am Meer in Sprichwörtern und Redensarten: mit historisch-etymologischen Kommentaren» von S. Altman und H. Walter, а также их русскоязычные эквиваленты. Магистерская диссертация (89 стр.) состоит из введения, 2 глав, заключения и библиографического списка (62 наименование). В первой главе были рассмотрены особенности отражения концепта вода в мировой культуре, в особенности, в русской и немецкой лингвокультурах, а также отличительные черты контрастивной фразеологии. Особое внимание было уделено понятию когнитивной метафоры и ее роли в создании фразеологического значения фраземы. Помимо этого были рассмотрены классификации эквивалентности фразеологических сочетаний, на основании которых был проведен анализ примеров. Вторая глава посвящена культурологическому и эквивалентному анализу фразеологизмов с водным компонентом в русском и немецком языках. В данной главе были также представлены и проанализированы результаты проведенной эмпирической работы. Результаты настоящего исследования показывают, что для фразеологизмов с водным компонентом в немецком и русском языках наиболее типичный вид эквивалентности – фразеологический параллелизм, что свидетельствует о различиях в образной реализации фразеологизмов с компонентом вода в немецкой и русской культурах. The aim of this work was to unravel specifics in how the concept of water is perceived in German and Russian cultures, to study influence of this concept on phraseology of German and Russian languages, from linguistic-cultural point of view, and also to define main types of equivalence of phraseology with water component in Russian and German languages. German idioms with water and hydrophytic component became the material for this work, and they can be found in a dictionary «Klar Schiff machen! Fisch, Wasser, Schiffe und die Menschen am Meer in Sprichwörtern und Redensarten: mit historisch-etymologischen Kommentaren» of S. Altman and H. Walter. To German idioms with water and hydrophytic elements are given Russian-language equivalents. The master’s thesis (89 pages) consists of introduction, two chapters, conclusion and bibliography (62 titles). Chapter One studies specifics in reflection of water concept in world culture, and in particular, in Russian and German linguistic cultures, and also specifics features of contrastive phraseology. Special attention was given to a definition of cognitive metaphor and its role in creating phraseological meaning of phraseme. In addition to that, classifications of equivalence in phraseological combinations were reviewed, and example analysis has been conducted on basis of that. Chapter Two studies cultural and equivalent analysis of idioms with water component in Russian and German languages. This chapter also presents and analyses results of the empirical work conducted. Results of this study show that idioms with water and hydrophytic component in German and Russian languages have phraseological parallelism as their most typical type of equivalence, which shows the differences in image realization of idioms with water components in German and Russian cultures.
