Determination of dynamic characteristics of chaotic regimes

Abstract

Рассматривается алгоритм расчёта спектра показателей Ляпунова для определённых динамических систем. Показатели Ляпунова обеспечивают качественную и количественную характеристику динамического поведения. Они связаны с экспоненциальной скоростью расхождения или сближения соседних орбит в фазовом пространстве. Система с положительными показателями Ляпунова допускает наличие хаотических траекторий движений. На примере предложенной модели, исследуется область возможных параметров для систем с хаотической динамикой движения звёзд. Определяются основные типы движений звёзд. Строятся графики выборочных звёздных орбит для различных наборов параметров системы.

An algorithm for calculating the spectrum of Lyapunov exponents for certain dynamical systems. Lyapunov exponents provide a qualitative and quantitative characterization of dynamic behavior. They are associated with an exponential rate of convergence and divergence of neighboring orbits in the phase space. The system with non-negative Lyapunov exponents admit the existence of chaotic trajectories of movement. For example, the proposed model, we investigate the range of possible options for systems with chaotic dynamics of motion of stars. Defines the main types of motions of stars. Plotted sample stellar orbits for different sets of parameters of the system.
