Developing the video installation for The Black Paintings by Francisco Goya

Abstract

Целью данной работы является разработка видеоинсталляции «“Мрачные картины” Франсиско Гойи». Данный проект представляет собой синтез мультимедиа технологий, призванный погрузить зрителя в мрачный мир переживаний и тревог знаменитого испанского художника. Представленный проект позволяет по-новому взглянуть на известные произведения и обратить внимание зрителя на свои внутренние переживания, основываясь на опыте Гойи, отражённом в его творчестве. Теоретическая часть диплома посвящена изучению истории создания Франсиско Гойей серии «Мрачные картины», выявлению специфических черт видеоинсталляции как жанра, анализу процесса создания комплексных мультимедийных продуктов. Практическая часть диплома представлена использованием программ Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Media Encoder, Adobe Photoshop, REAPER, Blender для создания элементов видеоинсталляции.

The purpose of this work is the development of a video installation "Dark Paintings of Francisco Goya". This project is a synthesis of multimedia technologies designed to immerse the viewer in the dark world of experiences and anxieties of the famous Spanish artist. The presented project allows to look at well-known works in a new way and draw the viewer's attention to their inner experiences, based on Goya's experience reflected in his work. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to studying the history of the creation of Francisco Goya's series "Dark Paintings", identifying specific features of video installation as a genre, and analyzing the process of creating complex multimedia products. The practical part of the thesis is presented by using programs Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Media Encoder, Adobe Photoshop, REAPER, Blender to create elements of the video installation.
