Non-equivalent vocabulary in Russian folk fairy tale (against the background of Chinese)

Abstract

В работе проводится исследование безэквивалентной лексики в русских народных бытовых сказках на фоне китайского языка. Дается определение лексики, безэквивалентной лексики, а также возможные варианты классификации безэквивалентных лексем. Отдельное внимание уделяется анализу сказки как части фольклорной картины мира. Делается вывод о том, что в бытовой сказке безэквивалентная лексика используется преимущественно для номинации различных сторон повседневной жизни человека (его социальный статус, жилище, праздники, еда и др.) Отсутствие эквивалентов в китайском языка объясняется этническим и историческим своеобразием китайской бытовой культуры.

In this paper the study of the non-equivalent vocabulary in Russian folk household tales on the background of the Chinese language is carried out. A definition of the lexicon, the non-equivalent lexicon, as well as possible variants of the classification of the non-equivalent lexemes are given. Special attention is paid to the analysis of fairy tales as a part of the folklore picture of the world. The conclusion is made that in a fairy tale the non-equivalent lexicon is mainly used to nominate various aspects of everyday life (social status, dwelling, holidays, food, etc.) The lack of equivalents in Chinese is explained by the ethnic and historical peculiarities of Chinese everyday culture.
