Actualisation of the emotional component of the speech of Japanese anime characters with mental deviations and its expression in Russian: A case study of the dialogic speech of the characters

Abstract

Данная работа представляет собой исследование актуализации эмоциональной составляющей в речи персонажей японских аниме с ментальными отклонениями (на японском языке) и её выражение при переводе на русский язык. Исследование осуществляется на пересечении таких областей как эмоциология, психолингвистика и переводоведение. Объектом исследования является японские аниме, в которых присутствуют персонажи с различными ментальными особенностями. Фактический материал в данной работе анализируется с помощью методов лингвистического описания и анализа, а также метода индукции. В первой главе данного исследования рассмотрено понятие эмотива, способы передачи эмоционального состояния в японском языке, а также выделены основные техники перевода. Во второй главе проанализирована роль аниме в культуре Японии, определена роль фактора ментальных отклонений в аниме и рассмотрен термин якувариго в соответствии с концепцией Кинсуй Сатоси. В заключительной главе произведен анализ персонажей с ментальными особенностями и их речи из выборки аниме («Евангелион нового поколения», «Добро пожаловать в NHK» и «Монстр»), рассмотрена актуализация эмоциональной составляющей и способы её передачи на русский язык.

The thesis is a study of the actualisation of the emotional component in the speech of Japanese anime characters with mental deviations (in Japanese) and its expression when translated into Russian. The research is conducted at the intersection of such fields as emotiology, psycholinguistics and translation studies. The object of the research is Japanese anime where the characters with various mental deviations are depicted. The factual material in this paper is analyzed using the methods of linguistic description and analysis, as well as the method of induction. The first chapter of this study examines the concept of the emotive component, the ways of conveying the emotional state in Japanese, and highlights the main translation techniques. The second chapter contains the analysis of the role of anime in Japanese culture, defines the mental deviation factor in anime and considers the term "yakuwarigo" according to the scientific works of Kinsui Satoshi. The final chapter analyzes the characters with mental deviations and their speech from such anime as "Neon Genesis Evangelion", "Welcome to the NHK" and "Monster", examines the actualisation of the emotional component and the ways of its translation into Russian.
