Hypercorrection as a cause of punctuation errors in modern speech

Abstract

Целью данной выпускной квалификационной работы является изучение явления пунктуационной гиперкоррекции на современном языком материале. Эмпирическим материалом послужили тексты вопросов, поступивших в Справочное бюро справочно-информационного портала «Грамота.ру», и материалы Генерального интернет-корпуса русского языка (тексты Живого Журнала). В результате первого этапа исследования была составлена квалификация пунктуационных ошибок гиперкоррекции и выявлены наиболее распространенные из них, в результате второго этапа — проведено тестирование среди носителей русского языка и установлена реальная распространенность ошибок гиперкоррекции в современной речи.

The purpose of this final qualifying work is to study the phenomenon of punctuation hypercorrection in modern language material. The empirical material was the texts of questions received by the Reference Bureau of the reference and information portal "Грамота.ру", and materials of the General Internet Corpus of the Russian language (texts of the Livejournal). As a result of the first stage of the study, the qualification of punctuation errors of hypercorrection was compiled and the most common of them were identified, as a result of the second stage, testing was conducted among native speakers of the Russian language and the real prevalence of hypercorrection errors in modern speech was established.
