Ukraine’s participation in the Eastern Partnership program: problems and prospects

Abstract

В данной аналитической работе был проведён комплексный анализ участия Украины в программе «Восточное партнёрство», были оценены неудачи и достижения в рамках этой интеграционной модели. Анализ проводился при помощи документов, опубликованных на официальном сайте программы «Восточное партнёрство», таких как: «Итоги программы «Восточное партнёрство» на период после 2020 года», «Зона углубленной и всеобъемлющей свободной торговли между ЕС и Украиной», а также таких массивных документов как «Соглашение об ассоциации ЕС с Украиной» и других соглашений о сотрудничестве. Анализу также подверглись итоги саммитов, посвящённых программе «Восточное партнёрство». Данное исследование дало исчерпывающие выводы о том какие есть перспективы у данной программы для Украины и какие проблемы требуется преодолеть.

In this analytical work, a comprehensive analysis of Ukraine's participation in the Eastern Partnership program was carried out, failures and achievements in the framework of this integration model were assessed. The analysis was carried out using documents published on the official website of the Eastern Partnership program, such as: “Results of the Eastern Partnership program for the period after 2020”, “Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area between the EU and Ukraine”, as well as such massive documents such as the "EU Association Agreement with Ukraine" and other cooperation agreements. The results of the summits dedicated to the Eastern Partnership program were also analyzed. This research gave exhaustive conclusions about what prospects this program has for Ukraine and what problems need to be overcome.
