A modified exponential stability criterion for a linear time-delay system

Abstract

В настоящей работе рассматривается модификация критерия экспоненциальной устойчивости для линейной стационарной системы с одним запаздыванием. Данный критерий требует проверки на положительную определённость некоторой блочной матрицы, которая строится по фундаментальной матрице системы и по матрице Ляпунова. Размерность этой блочной матрицы зависит от матриц системы и величины запаздывания и может быть довольно большой. Целью работы является уменьшение размерности. Полученный критерий экспоненциальной устойчивости был реализован в программной среде MATLAB.

In this paper we consider a modification of a criterion of the exponential stability for the linear system with a single delay. This criterion requires checking for positive definiteness of some block matrix which is based on the fundamental matrix of the system and on the Lyapunov matrix. The dimension of this block matrix depends on the matrices of the system and the delay value, and it can be very large. The purpose of our work is to reduce the dimension. The resulting exponential stability criterion was implemented in the MATLAB software environment.
