The latest borrowed newspaper vocabulary from the Russian periodic editions: Functional-semantic aspect

Abstract

Активное употребление новых заимствованных слов в сегодняшних российских газетах требует актуального исследования заимствованной лексики и ее функционирования в русском языке. В данной работе в синхронном срезе рассматривается новейшая заимствованная лексика из газет «Аргументы и Факты» и «Коммерсантъ» как представителей газет разного типа. Анализуются отобранные заимствованные единицы с разных точек зрения и описываются особенности их адаптации к системе русского языка. Сопоставительный анализ заимствованных единиц из «Аргументы и Факты» и «Коммерсанта» показал, что распределение и функционирование заимствованной лексики в известном мере зависит от разного типа газет.

The active use of new borrowed words in today's Russian newspapers requires an actual study on the borrowed vocabulary and its functioning in the Russian language. This paper examines the newest borrowed vocabulary from the newspapers «Arguments and Facts» and «Kommersant» as representatives of different types of newspapers in a synchronic time. The selected borrowed words are analyzed from different points of view and peculiarities of their adaptation to the Russian language system are described. A comparative analysis of borrowed words from «Arguments and Facts» and «Kommersant» has shown that the distribution and functioning of the borrowed vocabulary to a certain extent depends on the different types of newspapers.
