Digital trust in economic institutions in modern society: the case of St.Petersburg and the Leningrad region

Abstract

C конца 70-х годов XX века интерес к доверию в социальных науках не угасал, и на сегодняшний день различными учеными представлено большое количество научных работ, исследующих концепт доверия. Однако актуальность таких работ применительно к сегодняшней ситуации не является абсолютной в связи с тем, что исследователи в XX веке по объективных причинам не могли анализировать доверие в контексте цифрового общества, и разработка концепции доверия в соответствии с релевантными современному обществу тенденциями (главным образом цифровизацией) представляется важной задачей для современных исследователей. Проблемой данной работы является трансформация доверия в цифровом обществе. По каким принципам строится современное общество и чем обусловлены произошедшие изменения; какие новые специфические особенности приобретает феномен доверия в цифровой среде; как проявляется его роль в экономической сфере; какие аспекты цифрового доверия существуют; как следует учитывать доверие в процессе разработки цифровых продуктов.

Since the late 70s of the 20th century, interest in trust in the social sciences has not faded, and today a large number of scientific papers have been presented by various scientists exploring the concept of trust. However, the relevance of such works in relation to the current situation is not absolute due to the fact that researchers in the 20th century, for objective reasons, could not analyze trust in the context of a digital society, and the development of the concept of trust in accordance with trends relevant to modern society (mainly digitalization) seems an important challenge for modern researchers. The problem of this work is the transformation of trust in the digital society. By what principles is modern society built and what are the reasons for the changes that have occurred; what new specific features the phenomenon of trust acquires in the digital environment; how is its role manifested in the economic sphere; what aspects of digital trust exist; how trust should be taken into account in the process of developing digital products.
