Functioning of the word-formation model in modern Russian (a case study of nouns with the suffix "-onok")

Abstract

Целью выпускной квалификационной работы было исследование названий детенышей животных и названий невзрослых лиц, образованных при помощи словообразовательной модели с суффиксом -онок/-ёнок и рассмотрение особенностей функционирование данных дериватов в современном русском языке. Для достижения поставленной цели из современных лексикографических источников методом сплошной выборки были отобраны 107 зоонимов и 39 номинаций детей, после чего была рассмотрена представленность этих слов в толковых словарях разных эпох, проанализирована частотность и контексты их употребления в Национальном корпусе русского языка и рассмотрены их функции в интернет-пространстве. Выпускная квалификационная работа состоит из введения, теоретической главы, исследовательской главы, заключения и библиографии. В ходе исследования было выяснено, что для рассматриваемой группы слов характерен процесс неологизации, и было определено, что наиболее частотными номинациями с суффиксом -онок являются слова, выполняющие, помимо собственно номинативной, оценочно-эмотивную функцию. Особое внимание в выпускной квалификационной работе было уделено функционированию узуальных и потенциальных наименований детенышей животных и детей в сфере нейминга.

The purpose of the final qualifying work was to study the names of baby animals and the names of non-adult persons formed using a word-formation model with the suffix -onok / -yonok and to consider the features of the functioning of these derivatives in modern Russian. To achieve this goal, 107 zoonyms and 39 nominations of children were selected from modern lexicographic sources using a continuous sampling method, after which the representation of these words in explanatory dictionaries of different eras was considered, the frequency and contexts of their use in the National Corpus of the Russian Language were analyzed, and their functions on the Internet were considered. -space. The final qualifying work consists of an introduction, a theoretical chapter, a research chapter, a conclusion and a bibliography. In the course of the study, it was found that the process of neologization is characteristic of the group of words under consideration, and it was determined that the most frequent nominations with the suffix -onok are words that perform, in addition to the actual nominative, evaluative-emotive function. Particular attention in the final qualifying work was paid to the functioning of the usual and potential names of baby animals and children in the field of naming.
