Postpositives 'in', 'into' and 'out' as parts of English phrasal verbs

Abstract

Тема работы: «Постпозитивы in, into и out в составе английских фразовых глаголов» В работе исследованы лексико-семантические особенности фразовых глаголов с постпозитивами in, into и out. Рассматриваются принципы формирования и функционирования конструкций типа “глагол+послелог”, при этом особое внимание уделяется природе второго компонента конструкции. Определяется место фразовых глаголов во фразеологической системе английского языка. Анализ фразовых глаголов с постозитивами in, into и out показал, что больше всего зафиксировано глаголов с постпозитивом in. При этом, среди фразовых глаголов со всеми рассматриваемыми постпозитивами зафиксированы как фразеологические сращения, так и фразеологические единства и фразеологические сочетания. Один и тот же фразовый глагол может иметь значения, относящиеся к разным классам данной классификации.

The subject of the paper : “Postpositions IN, INTO and OUT as Part of English Phrasal Verbs” The aim of the paper was to study the aspects of lexical-semantic features of phrasal verbs with postpositions in, into and out. The author investigates the principles of formation and functioning of the structures of "verb+postposition", with focusing at the nature of the second element of the construction. The place of phrasal verbs in the phraseology language system is determined. The analysis of the phrasal verbs with postpositions in, into and out shows that the most numerous ones are the verbs with postposition in. Notably that both phraseological fusions and phraseological combinations or phraseological units are registered. Besides different senses of the same verb can belong to different classes of the given clfssificstion.
