The relationship between financial performance of Russian public companies and their compliance with the best practices of corporate governance

Abstract

Данная работа посвящена исследованию взаимосвязи соответствия лучшим практикам корпоративного управления и финансовой результативности российских публичных компаний. Корпоративное управление в современном бизнесе принимает все большую значимость, именно поэтому необходимо понять, насколько принятые лучшие практики корпоративного управления в России способствуют повышению финансовой результативности компаний. Результаты исследования позволяют говорить о наличии значимой взаимосвязи между степенью соответствия лучшим практикам корпоративного управления и рыночной финансовой результативности компании. В связи с этим в работе даны рекомендации по внедрению данных практик.

This research is dedicated to the relationship study of best practices in corporate governance and Russian public companies' performance. Russian business pays more and more attention to the topic of corporate governance, that is why it is important to understand if compliance with best practices in corporate governance leads to the increase in financial performance of a company. The research results permit to conclude that there is a significant relationship between compliance with best practices of corporate governance and company's market performance. According to the results obtained recomendations of best practices implementation are given.
