Personality and relationships with parents of adolescents brought up with domestic violence

Abstract

Для изучения личностных особенностей и взаимоотношения с родителями у подростков, воспитывающихся в условиях домашнего насилия нами были обследованы 80 подростков в возрасте от 14 до 17 лет, которые посещали реабилитационные центры в Армении (в Ереване), где работают над проблемами домашнего насилия. Исследование агрессивности проводилось по опроснику Басса – Дарки, для изучения социально-психологической адаптации, была использована методика диагностики социально-психологической адаптации К. Роджерса и Р. Даймонда, для изучения уровня тревожности мы использовали личностную шкалу проявления тревоги Дж. Тейлора, для выяснения детско-родительских отношений, с точки зрения подростков, нами была выбрана методика «Детско-родительские отношения подростков» (ДРОП), биографические данные респондентов были собраны при помощи разработанной нами анкеты. Для обработки данных были использованы методы анализа описательных статистик, сравнительный анализ по t-критерию Стьюдента, корреляционный анализ по Спирмену, также был применен регрессионный анализ. В ходе исследования было выяснено, что подросткам, испытывающим домашнее насилие, свойственен высокой уровень тревожности. Половая специфика проявилась в более выраженной агрессивности у юношей, а также в структуре влияния параметров межличностных взаимоотношений подростков на выраженность тревожности, агрессивности, враждебности и в силе и характере взаимосвязей этих отношений с показателями сациально-психологической адаптации.

To study the personal characteristics and relationships with parents of adolescents brought up in domestic violence 80 teenagers at the age of 14 to 17 were examined by us, they visited rehabilitation centres in Armenia (Yerevan), where the issues of domestic violence are being worked on. Aggression research was conducted in terms of questionnaire of Bass & Dark, to study the social and psychological adaptation we used the methods of diagnostics of socio-psychological adaptation of K. Rogers and R. Diamond, to study the level of anxiety the personal scale of symptoms of anxiety by J. Taylor was used, to determine the child-parental relationships, from the perspective of adolescents, we chose the method of "Parent-child relationship of adolescents" (DROP), biographical data of the respondents were collected using the questionnaire developed by us. Methods of analysis of descriptive statistics were used for data processing, a comparative analysis by Student’s t-test, Spearman correlation analysis, and regression analysis were applied. The study found that those teenagers who are experiencing domestic violence are characterized by high levels of anxiety. Sexual specificity manifested itself in more severe aggression among boys, as well as in the structure of the impact of parameters of interpersonal relationships of adolescents on the severity of anxiety, aggression, hostility and in the strength and nature of the connections of these relationships with indicators of social and psychological adaptation.
