Smart Learning Approach in Higher Education: the Case of St. Petersburg

Abstract

Магистерская диссертация посвящена роли внеучебной деятельности как формы самообучения в контексте умного обучения путем анализа концепции умного обучения с целью определения единиц измерения, характеристик и атрибутов для выявления уровня интеллектуальности, а также определения места внеучебной деятельности студента как формы самообучения в рамках умного обучения. Определены информационные потоки, связанные с внеучебной деятельностью в существующем образовательном процессе. Целью диссертации является разработка методов и рекомендаций по сокращению информационных потоков о внеучебной деятельности. Теоретическая часть включает обзор литературы по данной теме, изучение вторичной информации: исследования на национальном и глобальном уровнях, обзор опыта успешной реализации концепции умного обучения, а также основных базовых показателей, выявление характеристик и атрибутов умного обучения на основе контент-анализа определений. В качестве практической прикладной части на основе проведенного исследования автор разрабатывает ряд рекомендаций по сокращению информационных путей и адаптации передачи информации с точки зрения концепции smart, которые могут быть использованы для более структурированной, эффективной передачи информации от производителя к получателю. Основное ожидание заключается в том, что предлагаемые методы могут быть использованы в сфере высшего образования в Санкт-Петербурге.

The master's thesis is devoted to the role of extracurricular activities as a form of self-learning in the context of smart learning by analyzing the concept of smart learning in order to determine the units of measurement, characteristics and attributes to identify the level of smartness, as well as to determine the place of a student's extracurricular activities as a form of self-learning within smart learning. In the master's thesis describes the information flows associated with extracurricular activities in the existing educational process. The purpose of the master's thesis is to develop methods and recommendations for reducing information flows about extracurricular activities. The theoretical part includes the literature review related to this topic, the study of secondary information: research at the national and global levels, a review of the experience of successful implementation of the concept of smart learning, as well as the main basic indicators, the identification of characteristics and attributes of smart learning based on the content analysis of definitions. As a practical application part, based on the conducted research, the author develops a number of recommendations for reducing information paths and adapting information transfer from the point of view of the smart concept, which can be used for a more structured, efficient transfer of information from the producer to the recipient. The main expectation is that the proposed methods can be used in the field of higher education in St. Petersburg.
