Comparative study of translations of phraseological units, anthroponyms and wordplay in the stories of Gianni Rodari into Russian and Spanish

Abstract

Работа посвящена сравнению перевода фразеологизмов, антропонимов и игры слов в произведениях детской художественной литературы на русский и испанский языки. Цель данного исследования - изучение семантики и прагматики перевода имен собственных, игры слов и фразеологизмов и сравнение испанской и русской версии их перевода на примере рассказов Джанни Родари. В ходе исследования были использованы труды отечественных и зарубежных лингвистов в области перевода говорящих имен, фразеологизмов и игры слов, рассмотрены классификационные модели и использованы сравнительный и функциональный анализы. Область применения результатов – учебные пособия по практике перевода и практические материалы для изучения языков на специализированных курсах. Материалом исследования являются переводы антропонимов, фразеологизмов и игры слов на испанский и русский языки в произведениях Дж. Родари. На примере таких переводов показано сходство и различие русской и испанской версий перевода.

The thesis is devoted to the comparative study of the translation of phraseological units, anthroponyms and wordplay in the works of children's literature into Russian and Spanish. The purpose of this research is to study the semantics and pragmatics of translation of anthroponyms, wordplay and phraseological units and compare the Spanish and Russian versions of the Gianni Rodari's stories. In the course of the study, the works of domestic and foreign linguists dedicated to the translation of speaking names, phraseological units and wordplay were used, classification models were considered, and comparative and functional analyzes were applied. The field of application of the results is textbooks on translation practice and practical materials for learning languages in specialized courses. The research material is the translations of anthroponyms, phraseological units and wordplay into Spanish and Russian in the works of G. Rodari. Using such examples of the translations, the similarities and differences in the Russian and Spanish versions are shown.
