Eastern roots of the Cinderella story

Abstract

Данная работа посвящена сравнительному анализу восточных и европейских сказок о золушке. На материале чжуано-китайских, тайско-лаосских народных сказок и европейских авторских сказок Базиле, Перро и братьев Гримм проводится их структурное сопоставление по содержанию и функциям персонажей, выявляется родство героинь по внешне описательным и внутренним психологическим характеристикам, а также в целом указываются причины возникновения сюжетного действия этой сказки. По этой причине в рамках междисциплинарных исследований используется широкое обращение к этнологическому структурализму в части изучения семейно-родовых отношений, базирующихся на культе почитания умерших родственников, тотемических верованиях, которые ритуально обрамляет вера в переселение душ – метемпсихоз. Собственно изучение мифологической составляющей позволяет выявить онтогенетическую основу сказки о золушке и в рамках культурно-исторического анализа перекинуть мост между азиатскими и европейскими вариантами сказок.

This work is devoted to a comparative analysis of Eastern and European tales of Cinderella. Based on the material of Zhuango-Chinese, Thai-Laotian folk tales and European author's tales of Basile, Perrault and the Brothers Grimm, their structural comparison is carried out in terms of the content and functions of the characters, the relationship of the heroines is revealed in terms of their outwardly descriptive and internal psychological characteristics, and the reasons for the actions of this tale. For this reason, in the framework of interdisciplinary research, a wide appeal to ethnological structuralism is used in the study of family and clan relations based on the cult of reverence for deceased relatives, totemic beliefs, which are ritually framed by the belief in the transmigration of souls - metempsychosis. The study of the mythological component itself allows us to identify the ontogenetic basis of the tale of Cinderella and, within the framework of cultural and historical analysis, to build a bridge between Asian and European versions of fairy tales.
