Development of communicative competence of German language university students of 3rd-4th years through authentic videos

Abstract

Данная работа посвящена использованию аутентичных видеоматериалов для развития коммуникативной компетенции у изучающих немецкий язык (студентов старших курсов языковых специальностей). Цель работы заключается в исследовании взаимосвязи использования аутентичных видеоматериалов на занятиях по немецкому языку и развития у учащихся коммуникативной компетенции. Согласно требованиям Федерального государственного образовательного стандарта, целью обучения иностранным языкам является формирование и развитие у учащихся коммуникативной компетенции. Высокий уровень развития современных технологий позволяет учителям и преподавателям использовать для достижения этой цели аутентичные материалы, а также различные информационно-коммуникационные технологии. Это обуславливает актуальность темы работы. Выпускная квалификационная работа состоит из Введения, двух глав, Заключения, Списка использованной литературы и Списка источников. Объём работы составляет 67 страниц. Первая глава посвящена изучению теоретических положений, связанных с понятиями коммуникативной компетенции, аутентичности и аудиовизуальных технологий как одного из видов информационно-коммуникационных технологий. Во второй главе представлены методические рекомендации по использованию на занятиях аутентичных видеоматериалов, а также предложены варианты работы с данными материалами на примере немецкого языка.

This final qualification work is devoted to the development of the communicative competence of German language university students (3rd-4th years of linguistic studies) through authentic videos. The study aims to examine the relation between the usage of authentic videos at the lesson with university students and the development of the communicative competence by learners. According to Federal State Educational Standard, the main aim of teaching foreign languages is formation and development of the communicative competence by learners. High level of modern technologies enables teachers to use authentic materials and different information and communication technologies to achieve this goal. This determines the relevance of the work. The bachelor’s thesis includes the introduction, two chapters, the final conclusion, the list of literature, and the list of sources. The volume of the work is 67 pages. The first chapter is related to theoretical bases of the communicative competence, authenticity and audiovisual technologies as one of the types of information and communication technologies. The second chapter is devoted to methodical recommendations of the usage of authentic videos at the lesson and practical examples of work with such materials on the example of German language.
