Keywords in the genre of war memoirs as cognitive dominants of narrative organization

Abstract

Данная работа посвящена рассмотрению роли ключевых слов в качестве когнитивных доминант при организации автором повествовательной структуры текста военных мемуаров и интерпретации читателем смысла произведения. Материалами исследования являются мемуары «Солдатский долг» К.К. Рокоссовского и «Записки конструктора-оружейника» М.Т. Калашникова, информационная структура которых состоит из сообщений о прошлых военных событиях, своеобразного описания действительности, выражения авторской оценки, психологического состояния, рассуждения и т.п., что определяется как жанровыми особенностями военных мемуаров, так и индивидуальными характеристиками автора как неординарной личности. В работе на основе рассмотрения информационной структуры текста и ее типизированных, повторяющихся компонентов проводится наблюдение за ключевыми словами в двух произведениях: их частотностью употребления; словообразовательным семейством; их воплощением в разных временных планах повествования и информационных компонентах текста, что способствует динамическому развитию сюжета и смысла текста; лексико-семантическим полем, сформированным на основе всех возможностей использования ключевого слова в целом тексте и его способностью отражать некое когнитивное пространство в сознании автора. Исследование показывает, что ключевые слова в рассматриваемых военных мемуарах служат когнитивными доминантами организации автором повествования, они выступают и в качестве средств, с помощью которых осуществляется речевое и когнитивное взаимодействие между автором и читателем. Ключевые слова, участвуя в организации структуры текста военных мемуаров, отражают то, как автор интерпретирует мир и знания о мире.

This dissertation is devoted to the role of keywords as cognitive dominants in the author's organization of the narrative structure of military memoirs and the reader's interpretation of the meaning of the work. The materials of the study are the memoirs "Soldier's duty" (K. K. Rokossovsky) and "Notes of the designer-gunsmith" (M. T. Kalashnikov), the information structure of which consists of reports about past military events, unique description of reality, the expression of the author's assessment, psychological state, reasoning, etc., which are determined by the genre features of military memoirs and individual characteristics of the author as an extraordinary personality. In this dissertation, based on the consideration of the information structure of the text and its typed, repeated components, we observed the keywords in two works: their frequency of use; word-formation family; their implementation in different time planes of the narrative and information components of the text, which contributes to the dynamic development of the plot and meaning of the text; lexical and semantic field formed on the basis of all the possibilities of using the keyword in the whole text and its ability to reflect a certain cognitive space in the author's mind. The study shows that the key words in the considered military memoirs serve as cognitive dominants of the narrative organization and means by which speech and cognitive interaction between the author and the reader is carried out. The key words involved in organizing the structure of the text of the military memoirs reflect how the author interprets the world and knowledge about the world.
