Verbal and non-verbal means for the expression in the motif structure: A case study of Kantemir Balagov's film "Beanpole"

Abstract

Данная выпускная квалификационная работа посвящена выявлению и описанию взаимодействия невербальных и вербальных средств выражения мотивной структуры кинотекста. При поведении исследования были использованы методы структурно-семантического, семантического и лингвистического анализа текста. В работе представлены три разных подхода, позволяющие изучить мотивные структуры кинотекста. В работе подтверждается гипотеза, состоящая в том, что, взаимодействуя друг с другом, вербальный и невербальный компоненты мотивной структуры обеспечивают целостность и связность кинотекста, его коммуникативный эффект, что отражает режиссерский замысел.

This final qualifying paper is devoted to the identification and description of the interaction of verbal and nonverbal means of expression in the motif structure of Kantemir Balagov’s “Beanpole”. The methods of structural-semantic, semantic and linguistic analysis of the text are used in the conduct of the study. The paper presents three different approaches that allow us to study the motif structures of the text. The work confirms the hypothesis that verbal and nonverbal components of the motivic structure interact with each other, ensuring the integrity and coherence of the film text, saving its communicative effect, which reflects the director's intention.
