Geologic hazards and their influence on the relief and structure of the Quaternary deposits of the seas of the Arctic sector of Russia

Работа включает: 60 страниц, 1 таблицу, 16 рисунков; использованных источников – 54. Данная работа посвящена изучению опасных геологических процессов в пределах полярных морей России. Поскольку Арктический регион является высокоперспективным для поиска месторождений углеводородов, в нём активно ведутся проектные работы, в зоне которых встречаются те или иные геологические опасности. Выбор темы обусловлен необходимостью систематизации данных об опасных геологических процессах с целью понимания их развития и прогнозирования в будущем. В работе приведена классификация опасных геологических процессов для исследуемого региона, приведены графические материалы с анализом основных особенностей данных процессов. Установлено, что опасности приурочены к определённым условиям, различны по своей активности проявления и отражаются в рельефе и строении четвертичной толщи. В заключительной главе осуществлена картографическая интерпретация теоретических данных и приведённых материалов. Приведены 2 картосхемы: 1) опасных геологических процессов российской Арктики; 2) районирования полярных морей России по характеру проявления опасных геологических процессов.

60 pages, 1 table, 16 illustrations, 54 used sources are included in this paper. This work is devoted to the study of geologic hazards within the polar seas of Russia. Since the Arctic region is highly promising for the search for hydrocarbon deposits, project works are under way, in the zone of which certain hazards may come out. The choice of the topic is due to the need to systematize data on these processes in order to understand their development and forecast in the future. The paper presents the classification of geologic hazards for the studied region, provides graphic materials with an analysis of the main features of these processes. It has been established that the dangers are coincided to certain conditions, manifestations vary in their activity and are reflected in the relief and structure of the Quaternary sediments. In the final chapter, a cartographic interpretation of the theoretical data and the given materials is carried out. There are 2 maps: 1) geological processes in the Russian Arctic; 2) zoning of the polar seas of Russia according to the nature of the manifestation of geologic hazards.
