| ru_RU |

It is seen primarily as a communicative process in which each of the parties to the discussion builds their own argument, the purpose of which is to achieve persuasion through and refutation of the opposing point of view. There are four main types of emotional impact, which often substitute for the rational effect: argumentum ad metum (argument to fear), argumentum ad hominem (argument to the person), argumentum ad misericordiam (argument to pity), argumentum ad populum (argument to the people). In the course of the study it was determined that the emotional impact could be referred to a method of persuasion, as it affects the recipient's feelings bypassing the requirements imposed by the laws of logic, and consists of rhetorical techniques. | en_GB |
