Investigation journalism in Russia and the USA: A comparative analysis

Abstract

Актуальность темы исследования обусловлена рядом причин. Во-первых, востребованностью и сложностью журналистских расследований, методы которых необходимо тщательно изучать для улучшения качества работы СМИ. Во-вторых, социальной значимостью этого жанра. При помощи расследований журналист может добиться правосудия наравне с сотрудниками полиции, выявить проблемы в политической, социальной, экономической сферах, побудить власть к активным действиям. Целью работы является анализ работы американских и отечественных журналистов, выявление основных методов проведения журналистских расследований. Задачи исследования: - проанализировать сущность понятия журналистское расследования; - рассмотреть основные методы расследований; - изучить исторический опыт США и России в области расследовательской журналистики; - сравнить собственное расследование с расследованиями известных журналистов. Объектом исследования являются журналистские расследования в Америке и России. Предмет исследования - национальные особенности расследований в США и РФ. В качестве теоретической базы использованы российские и зарубежные работы по журналистским расследованиям, пособия по истории жанра и методам работы. В основе выпускной квалификационной работы лежат труды А. Горшкова, Е. Вышенкова, А. Станько, Д.Уллмена, Г. Вальрафа. Методологическая база исследования. В основе работы лежат принципы анализа и сравнения. Эмпирической базой исследования послужили журналистские материалы «Фонтанки.ру», «Новой газеты», «New York Times», интервью с Андреем Захаровым и собственный расследовательский опыт. Структура исследования. Выпускная квалификационная работа имеет структуру из трех глав, заключения, списка использованных источников и литературы и приложений. В первой главе, состоящей из трех параграфов, дается определение понятию «журналистское расследование», анализируются основные методы работы, изучается опыт российских и американских журналистов. Вторая глава представляет собой анализ конкретных расследований из изданий «Фонтанка.ру», «Новая газета» и «New York Times».В третьей главе сравнивается работа журналиста РБК
