The semantic field "Space" in the key words of the era: A case study of the Pravda newspaper from 1950 to 1961

Журналист существует в текущем моменте, и ему важно понимать механизмы развития языка, условия зарождения фразеологизмов и неологизмов, историю семантических значений слов, чтобы применять знания в работе. Вплоть до настоящего времени соревнование в космической сфере не потеряло своей актуальности, то есть можно говорить о значимости исследования и для текущего момента. Объект исследования: лексико-семантическое поле «Космос». Предмет исследования: ключевые слова эпохи, связанные с космической тематикой. Цель исследования: описание лексико-семантического поля «Космос» через ключевые слова эпохи. Задачи исследования: 1. Определение места семантического поля в создании языковых мировоззренческих установок. 2. Создание схемы лексико-семантического поля «Космос». 3. Описание ядра, центра и периферии лексико-семантического поля «Космос». Методы, задействованные в данном исследовании: лингвистический анализ, контент-анализ, сравнительный анализ, метод сплошной выборки, описательный метод. Теоретическую базу составили работы советских и российских лингвистов: В. Г. Костомарова, Ю. Н. Караулова, Л. Н. Мурзина, З. Д Поповой, Т. В. Шмелевой, А. Вежбицкой, Н. А. Купиной и других. Эмпирическую базу составили 252 выпуска газеты «Правда» и 150 текстов, посвященных космосу. Выпускная квалификационная работа состоит из введения, двух глав, заключения и списка литературы. Во введении определяется основная цель и задачи исследования. Первая глава посвящена понятию лексико-семантического поля «Космос» и составляющим его компонентам. Во второй главе анализируются особенности ключевых слов эпохи 1950-1961 гг. и их связь с семантическим полем «Космос». В заключении подводятся итоги проведенного исследования и формируются основные выводы. В приложении к дипломной работе представлена схема лексико-семантического поля «Космос».

In view of the fact that a journalist exists in the current moment, so it is important for him to understand the mechanisms of language development, the conditions for the phraseological units and neologisms origin and the history of the semantic words meanings, in order to apply received knowledge in this practice. Up to nowadays the competition in the space sphere has not lost its relevance, that is why we can speak about the importance of research for the current moment. The object of the study is the lexical-semantic field "Space" The subject: key words of the age related to the space theme. The purpose of the work is the specification of the lexical-semantic field "Space" through the key words of the age. Objectives of work: 1. Determination of the place of the semantic field in the creation of linguistic world outlooks. 2. Creation of the scheme of the lexical-semantic field "Space". 3. Specification of the core, center and periphery of the lexical-semantic field "Space". The theoretical methods involved in this study include: linguistic analysis, content analysis, comparative analysis, method of continuous sampling, descriptive method. The theoretical basis was made by the works of such russian and soviet specialists as: V. G. Kostomarov, U. N. Karaulov, L. N. Murzin, Z. D. Popova , T. V. Shmeleva, A. Vezhbitskaya, N. A. Kupina and others. The empirical basis included 252 numbers of the newspaper «Pravda» and 150 texts on the space theme. The thesis consists of an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion, a bibliography and an annex. The introduction defines the main goal and objectives of the study. The first chapter is devoted to the concept of the lexico-semantic field "Space" and its constituent components. In the second chapter, the key words of the 1950-1961 decade and their connection with the semantic field "Space" are analyzed. In the conclusion, the results of the study are summarized and the main conclusions are formed. The annex to the thesis presents the scheme of the lexical-semantic field "Space".
