The expression of cause-and-effect relations in the process of translation

Abstract

В данном диссертационном исследовании на примере перевода на русский язык романа аргентинского писателя Эдуардо Сачери «La pregunta de sus ojos» будет проведен анализ выражения причинно-следственных связей в процессе перевода. Актуальность данного исследования обусловлена тем, что до сих пор большинство исследователей занимается проблемой выражения причинно-следственных связей в рамках одного конкретного языка. В данной работе речь пойдет о важности правильного установления причинно-следственных отношений в тексте оригинала для осуществления корректного перевода.

In this dissertation we shall present the analysis of the expression of cause-and-effect relations in the process of translation by studying the translation into Russian of the novel “La pregunta de sus ojos” by an argentinian author Eduardo Sacheri. This study is topical due to the fact that the majority of linguists today tends to be concerned with the problem of expression of the cause-and-effect relations in terms of one particular language. Whilst this work discusses the importance of identification of cause-and-effect relations in the original text in order to translate it correctly.
