Development of the environmental legal system in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation

Abstract

Работа посвящена определению механизмов формирования экологического законотворчества в Арктической зоне Российской Федерации (АЗРФ). В настоящее время в условиях активной экономической деятельности в этом регионе политико-правовое пространство в АЗРФ зависит от эффективной законотворческой деятельности. На основе анализа современной законотворческой ситуации в области охраны окружающей среды в регионе российской Арктики и на базе мирополитического подхода были сформулированы основные этапы формирования природоохранного законотворчества в российской Арктике, которые могли бы оказать существенное влияние на становление международной природоохранной системы в Арктике в целом.

The work is devoted to determining mechanisms for the formation of environmental law in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. Currently, in the conditions of active economic activities in this region, political and legal space in the Russian Arctic depend on effective lawmaking. Based on the analysis of the current legislative situation in the field of environmental protection in the Russian Arctic region and on the basis of the worldpolitical approach, the main stages of the formation of environmental legislation in the Russian Arctic were formulated. Those mechanisms could have a significant impact on the development of the international environmental protection system in the Arctic as a whole.
