Additional services as an expansion strategy of Uber in the Russian market

Abstract

Цель настоящей работы – разработка стратегии экспансии компании Uber на российском рынке путем развития сторонних сервисов. Данная работа состоит из трех частей. В Главе 1 рассмотрены теоретические подходы к стратегии экспансии компаний и их мотивам диверсификации, проведен анализ компании Uber и её основного бизнеса, проведен анализ ключевых ресурсов и компетенций компании. В Главе 2 были рассмотрены различные стратегические варианты развития сторонних сервисов Uber в России и выявлены перспективные, проведен анализ пяти сил портера для целевой индустрии. В Главе 3 описана предлагаемая к реализации бизнес-модель для компании Uber, оценены финансовые показатели проекта, описан план реализации проекта и потенциальные риски, сформулированы рекомендации.

The purpose of this work is to develop an expansion strategy for Uber in the Russian market through the development of side services. This work consists of three parts. Chapter 1 the theoretical approaches to the strategy of expansion of companies and their motivation for diversification were examined, performed the analysis the Uber company and its core business, analyzed the key resources and competencies of the company. In Chapter 2, various strategic options for the development of side Uber services in Russia were examined and prospective ones were identified, an analysis of five Porter forces for the target industry was conducted. Chapter 3 describes the proposed business model for Uber with an assessed financial performance of the project.
