Abstract

Главная цель моей работы - создание объекта из керамики с использованием элементов искусства викингов. К этой теме я пришла после написания курсовой работы по орнаментам эпохи викингов. Изучение их быта, ритуалов и обычаев, вдохновило меня на создание серии светильников. В своем проекте я хотела соединить элементы того времени с современными мотивами. Для реализации этой идеи я решила взять простую и лаконичную форму прямоугольника и соединить ее с элементами из искусства викингов. Главным вдохновением для меня послужили рунные камни и суда (даккары) с звериными головами. Отталкиваясь от этого, я решила использовать природные фактуры, такие как камень и дерево. Именно на этих матерьялах чаще всего изображали орнаменты и руны. Керамика как никакой другой матерьял подходит для их передачи. Создавая свою работу, я хотела передать красоту линий древних мастеров. Изменяя их, мне было очень важно, оставить их характер, чтоб они были узнаваемыми.

The main goal of my work is to create an object from ceramics using elements of Viking art. I came to this topic after writing a course work on ornaments of the Viking Age. Studying their life, rituals and customs inspired me to create a series of lamps. In my project i wanted to combine the elements of that time with modern motifs. To implement this idea I decided to take a simple and concise form of the rectangle and connect it with the elements from the art of the Vikings. The main inspiration for me became runestones and ships (dakkars) with animal heads. Starting from this, I decided to use natural textures, such as stone and wood. Primarily on these materials most often depicted ornaments and runes. Ceramics like no other material is suitable for their transfer. Creating my work, I wanted to express the beauty of the lines of ancient masters. Changing them, it was very important for me to leave their character so that they were recognizable.
