A comparative analysis of the Russian and German-speaking cultures in Russia of the 18th–19th centuries

Abstract

В настоящей работе проводится сравнительный анализ русской и немецкоязычной культур в России XIII-XIX вв. Сравнительный анализ культур является одним из направлений культурологических исследований и широко применяется в современной культурологии. Предметом настоящего исследования является человек как носитель культуры, а точнее - этно-культурные характеры немцев, живших в России в обозначенный период, а также этно-культурные характеры носителей русской культуры в сравнении с ними. Компаративистский анализ в данной работе проводится методами имагологии. Имагология − область гуманитарного знания, культурологическая дисциплина, предмет исследования которой – образ представителя «чужой» культуры, образ «другого» в культуре. В качестве источников были использованы: фольклорный тексты, публицистика, изданные дневники, художественная литература, а также современные научные труды по имагологическому и литературоведческому анализу, истории имагологии, теории литературы и анализу текстов культуры.

In this paper comparative analysis of Russian and German-speaking cultures in Russia XIII-XIX centuries is carried out. Comparative analysis of cultures is one of the directions of cultural studies, it’s widely used in modern cultural studies. The subject of this study is a person as a carrier of culture, more specifically ethno-cultural characters of Germans who lived in Russia during the designated period, as well as ethno-cultural factors of the carriers of Russian culture in comparison with them. The comparative analysis in this work is carried out by the methods of imagology. Imagology is an area of humanitarian knowledge, a cultural discipline, the subject of investigation of which is the image of the representative of the "alien" culture, the image of the "other" in culture. The sources were folklore texts, press, published diaries, fiction, as well as modern scientific works on imagological and literary analysis, the history of imagology, the theory of literature and the analysis of cultural texts.
