The aesthetic as the political in the news media space: A case study of the "Lentach" public news page

Abstract

Данная работа посвящена проблеме соотношения политики и эстетики в современном новостном медиапространстве. Это соотношение будет исследовано на примере новостного паблика «Лентач». Паблик «Лентач» – это новостное сообщество, характерной чертой которого является сатирическая подача новостей с акцентом на обыгрывающие их юмористические картинки-мемы: такова эстетическая политика паблика, который выбрал аутентичный современности способ преподнесения информации для того, чтобы привлечь читателей. Объектом исследования послужили публикации в сообществе и комментарии к ним.

This research is devoted to the problem of relation between politics and aesthetics in the modern news media space. This relation will be investigated using the example of the news public Lentach. "Lentach" is a news community, which characteristic feature is satirical news giving with an accent on humorous images-memes that outplay the news: this is the aesthetic policy of the public which chose an authentic modern way of presenting information in order to attract readers. The object of the study is publications in the community and comments on them.
