В работе рассматривается динамика представлений о будущем, бытующих в историческом сознании дореволюционного и советского общества, выявляются основные факторы формирования прогнозов социального и научно-технического развития, оценивается их влиятельность в общественном сознании. Наибольшее внимание уделено трансформации образа будущего в художественной литературе.

Thе paper is dedicated to analyzing the dynamics of changing ideas about the future prevailing in the historical consciousness of pre-revolutionary and Soviet Russia society, considering the main factors of formation of prognoses, to evaluate their influence in the public consciousness. attention is paid to the transformation of the image of the future in fiction.
